Save Energy, Save Money, Save Students
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite your organization to learn about the National Center for the Learning Environment (NCLE); our mission, vision, and values. If you believe your company's values align with our organization, then we invite you to become a partner of the Save Our Schools: Become a Lean, Green, Educating Machine Conference & Trade Show
presented by NCLE. The conferences will address ways school districts can save money, find money, realize energy efficiencies, and, most importantly, how to implement sustainable practices in a struggling economy. We have opportunities to exhibit and to sponsor this event!
What makes NCLE different?
Before we approach companies, NCLE looks for partners whose mission and project goals are similar to the goals of NCLE – we say that the organization has a
mission match. This is a philosophy we use throughout our organization.
We can be a stronger force for a cause when we are able to share resources and stand together in our efforts.
A Good Idea – A Solid Plan – The Right Partners – Mission Match
NCLE's Motivation
NCLE is driven by its team's enthusiasm and belief that our efforts, as a small yet dynamic organization, represent a positive transformation in the way K-12 schools operate, instruct, and transform young students into well-rounded and community-minded individuals contributing value and worth in their own unique way.
We are also investigating how we can enhance the synergy between K-12 schools and Higher Education.
We believe this is critical, as today's K-12 students will be tomorrow's college and university attendees; conversely, today's higher education students will be tomorrow's teachers. To that end, we are incorporating a special Higher Education Academy into our spring conference.
2011 Spring/Fall Conference Audience
The primary target audience of the Lean, Green conference will be K-12 teachers, administrators, board members, and facility and finance department personnel. We have, however added a higher education "academy" to this series in an effort to promote a holistic view of the educational environment. The higher education program will provide the opportunity to invite Higher Education professionals, including educators, department chairs, facility managers and administrators. Additionally, the program will be open to all facility service providers, such as architects, facility planners, engineers, and contractors. Energy services, utility companies, and 'green' specialty groups will also be invited.
Save Our Schools Conference Focus
This conference, the first in a series of educational programs, "Become a Lean, Green, Educating Machine," will equip our attendees with simple and effective tools to save energy; integrate sustainability into curriculum; introduce behavior modification concepts that will save districts money and gain efficiencies; and, discuss "green" rating systems that help to define the future of High Performance Schools.
Why is NCLE Holding Two Small Conferences in Different States?
The current economic climate is not conducive to travel by school personnel, so NCLE will come to them. In addition, the cost is very low for school districts and other non-profit organizations.
Partner Recognition
As a partner of this conference, your company will receive the full support of NCLE; we consider our sponsors to be our partners and we are fully committed to promoting your company; before, during, and after the conference.
When organizations work together, greatness can be achieved.
